Bumper Poptimists Fun Pack

OK first of all help needed. The final round of my pop quiz tonight is going to be a DRAW A POP STAR round, someone has a minute to draw the pop star (with no numbers or letters allowed on the drawing) and the rest of their team has to guess who it is. So I need some good pop stars for them to draw - not too peasy but still guessable. Bands are fine too.

Your reward for this is some FILES. Specifically:

Prefecto - Anything For Love: Meat Loaf into handbag DOES go!

DJ Space C - Fox On The Run: A great favourite this, eurobosh cover of the Sweet tune.

Sister Janet Mead - The Lord's Prayer: OK HEATHENS get this, it's a psychedelic funk version of the devotional 'classic' by an NUN from Australia.

And onto the third part of this post, a special bonus bit of quiz, the Lyrics round. These are so easy I'm not bothering to screen comments. My boss is going to be reading them all out tonight, nothing too outrageous in there I hope.

1. If her Daddy's rich, take her out for a meal. If her Daddy's poor, just do what you feel

2. Marco, Merrick, Terry Lee, Gary Tibbs and yours truly. From the naughty North to the sexy South, we're all saying, "I got the mouth!"

3. I've been undressed by kings and I've seen things that a woman ain't supposed to see

4. AM, FM, All that jazz - we'd rather sing along with Yazz! What happened to the radio? They never play the songs we know.

5. Hey Andy, did you hear about this one? Tell me, are you locked in the punch? Hey Andy, are you goofing on Elvis? Hey baby, are we losing touch?

6. All I wanted was a lousy letter or a call. I hope you know, I ripped all your pictures off the wall.

7. I fight my way to front of class to get the best view of her ass. I drop a pencil on the floor. She bends down and shows me more….

8. Quick, to the point, to the point, no faking - I'm cooking MC's like a pound of bacon, burning them. If you ain't quick and nimble, I go crazy when I hear a cymbal

9. I don't want to see a ghost. It's a sight that I fear most. I'd rather have a piece of toast

10. No more carefree laughter, silence ever after. Walking through an empty house, tears in my eyes. Here is where the story ends, this is goodbye.

"I don't want to see a ghost. It's a sight that I fear most. I'd rather have a piece of toast."

"Oh yeah... JAMES BROWN."

#4 is the grebt "I'd Rather Jack" by The Reynolds Girls (nobody at the actual Quiz will get this, I think)

my guess for #8 - Vanilla Ice?

Ah! I did this round at a music quiz once, where I drew cartoons of people and you had to guess who they were:

Peter Gabriel
Kurt Cobaing
MC Hammer
Oasis
Kate Bush
Mariah Carey
Barry White

#8 is indeed Ice Ice Baby. I can remember that the next line starts "A high-hat!" but then the mists descend again.

Morrissey
ABBA
Devo
Angus Young
Madonna
Chumbawamba Madness
Public Enemy

Alot of these depend on the actual level of drawing skills and time available.
