Now, I know several of you like this younger person's danceydancey music and I couldn't help noticing that several of the turns you're often mentioning [0] seem to be appearing at a goods warehouse in kings cross on august bank holiday weekend. I'm also pleased to see that there are quite a few lovely FOLK bands [1] on the same day, lovely.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you were intending on going? The Saturday was my choice, and it's only £20

This is my birthday weekend! I went last year and from Saturday through to Tuesday had approx 2 hrs sleep (all on Monday morning). It was incredible. I will very probably be going this year as well but have made no concrete plans yet...

We are definitely going! In fact I have written on my hand "remember to buy Saturday X-Central tixx0r".

Actually I have written "X-Cntl".

dogrando & I were certainly intending to go to at least the Sat one.

that has looked like an ace thing for the last 3 or so years, but i never make it. this year there is every chance it might coincide with one variety or another of pre-wedding orgafun. at a guess. it's the w/e after MY birthday, and a convenient distance before the wedding innit.

mind you, only 22 quid innit. and saturday would be my choice, leaving a FULL two days of hols left after that. hmmm

or part thereof. when mr anderson comes back from his latest shenanigans we can check if that would clash with any other plans he might have

Ooh. This sounds gooood. Am way too old and/or undruggy these days for two days of this, but the Saturday with Smagghe/Optimo et all, sounds stonking.

Anyone* mental enough to join me in attempting BOTH?! I might just not go home for a couple of days and treat it like Glasto.

last year as I recall:

Sunday 6am-1pm, sit in Sophie R's flat and drink about another 20 bottles of wine
Sunday 1pm-8pm, pub lunch (at which point most others stayed in the pub til it closed while the rest of us went off for TDK Day 2)
Monday 7am-11am, home to sleep
Monday 11am-1pm, emerge
Monday 1pm-11pm, birthday drinks in park and pub
Monday 11pm-Sunday 4am, Trash
Sunday 4am-6am, sit on plinth on Shaftesbury Avenue and eat biscuits

Monday to TUESDAY. TUESDAY is the one which comes after Monday Lex.

I got IDed on Saturday and it transpires that I don't know my own age.

Hahahaha.

Was in the queue supermarket yesterday and a 39-year-old woman got id'd for booze. I know her age because she cackled and told the cashier that he'd made her day/pointed out that she hadn't carried id for about 20 years.
