Well predictably Rihanna was beaten off in the end by crazy old Gnarls Barkley and his three more ticks. 'Crazy' got more ticks (27) than any other Top 40 single this year and 87.1% vote share, making it the most popular chart hit of the year among Poptimist members. Who says we're not in touch with Joe Still-Buys-CDs / £50 Mang?

the rac's single is "any good at all" though. it's mainly due to ignorance and only listening to 30 mins of xfm a day (finally had enough of moyles, and who wouldn't want to wake up to lauren etcetc) that i haven't been able to tick most of these.

My "turn back to Radio 1" has reminded me of why I turned away from R1 in the first place, they're going down the MTV route of avoiding playing any music at all if possible - the last TWENTY MINUTES have been spent on some awful prank call involving a fake Jo Whiley kiss n tell story. Now they're playing something which might be The Feeling (or Orton).

30 mins of radio per day = clock radio of a morning, which has no digital option...

...although i did get a portable digital radio for my birthday, but i like my ipod too much...
