Right, thanks to stevem78, I have been listening to that T3sticles (call them by their name) remix endlessly - perhaps to suffice the fact that my copy of the Upper Cuts has gone walkabouts - the Braxe mix of Heartbeat is also MUCH better than the original, in the "sugary isn't sugary enuff" way, so this is the post where I say:

TELL ME ABOUT MORE BRAXE & CO REMIXES PLEASE!

In return, I will tell you about my knowledge on a topic of YOUR CHOICE!

PS - I keep pronouncing the end syllable, ie "Brack-suh", but I'm pretty sure it's just "Bracks". Wot do YOU sa?

the 'Anticipating' remix is great - i played it at FATSugar, segued from the original mix

the Alan Braxe & Fred Falke (poor Fred, always involved but often not acknowledged) mix of DFA 1979's 'Black History Month' is also good and features on my 2005 mix.

Weirdly (or not) I pronounce Braxe "Bracks" but Falke "Fal-kuh"

I am more inclined to say "Bracks and Falk-uh" when putting them both together, as Bracksuh and Falkuh seems a bit too much! Argh! But seperately, I always want to say Braxxxuh - perhaps I have listened to too much MES and The Falls.
