Sorry Thom!!!!

Due to a "database error" one song was left off the Now poll this lunchtime. Here is your chance to deliver An Verdict:

[Poll #678653]

I defer to Beavis and Butthead's judgement on this one.

This bit rocks! All the other bits SUCK!

Arf I heart B&B.

[watching Beastie Boys' Sabotage video]
B: This video rules! They're cops! Chasing stuff! Whooah!
B: SHUTTUP BEAVIS, I'm trying to watch the video!

I love Creep again.

[identity profile] chezghost.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
esp. what TLC did with it ho ho

I used to enjoy myself, way back then, annoying indie types by insisting that it was a very long way from being the best song called Creep released that year.

OMG, you aesthetic despawado, Martin!!

[identity profile] carsmilesteve.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
sorry, it appears that angsty 20 year old me took over just as i was clicking.

crepe is *some* good at all, i'd argue...

I had never thought about it that way before!

More 'pro' votes please!

[identity profile] carsmilesteve.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
a 40% lead is pretty good i'd say...

[identity profile] braisedbywolves.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a respectable fourth place, but a first is within it's grasp. NB: even I don't think it's better than Go West, Boom! Shake The Room or Mr Vain.

[identity profile] tommymack.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It is 'any good at all'. But it is not very good. Nor Radiohead in general. Anyone Can Play Guitar is better, but only because it features the line 'Comb my hair, I am Jim Morrison' - it's very important to comb your hair if you want to be Jim Morrison, but also that's a good lyric with genuine insight into youthful outsiderdom, whereas most of Yorko's VI-form poetry is not.

If you want to subvert creep for all time, sing it in a Johnny Rotten voice with the you and I reversed.

[identity profile] tommymack.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Disco Diva probably is better...

[identity profile] jel-bugle.livejournal.com 2006-02-23 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Radiohead only made one really good album! The one that Creep was on.

I have never heard a Radiohead album. I love "Creep." I don't think I've ever disliked a song called "Creep." Best Stone Temple Pilots song, if I recall correctly. Not best TLC song, though. But a good one.

Creeplover

All of you who said "no" are nuts.

I did this song with a karaoke band the other day, and it was fun!

[identity profile] darkpigeon.livejournal.com 2006-02-24 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
it should be given bonus points for the best/worst song on the cd - people wont put it down in the previous entry as it aint there to prod their memorysticks

[identity profile] nicolars.livejournal.com 2006-02-24 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not a big Radiohead fan but I don't think it's a bad song.

Plus, it gets bonus points from me for Dan Perry's work band cover version of it.

Oh, I like the Heartworms version of Creep! I should Sukrat it!
