Urgh missing hyphen on All Around The World. Sorry Cooler Kids!

Princess Superstar (http://www.beatsdigital.com/index.php?track_id=78085) says about three syllables but still totally owns the track (which there's only about a minute of streamed there but it's enough to give you an idea). I still cane this song on my mp3 player ALL THE TIME.

I decided just to tick things that could arguably be the best song of the year, without any votes of moral support for otherwise ludicrous picks.

possibly better if you pretend this was something from Paris Hilton's album (tho I would understand if that actually ruins it for you)

Guessing a lot of you haven't heard this - it's IMO the best track from the 'Electric Version' album. Exuberant sugar-rush power pop:

The Thrills were kind of terrible, weren't they? However I accidentally saw them play a free gig in Rome train station - this song sounds much better when it's 28C and you know you can walk away at any time...

The only one of these I care about that I consider unlikely to go through is 03 Bonnie & Clyde":

More or less a cover of "Me and my Girlfriend" by Tupac, but I like it better than the original.

I got into this, believe it or not, via the FashionTV channel. Of course, they used a different video. Ahem.

Song is great. The spoken word bit at the end is a bit dubious though.

Panjabi MC f. Jay-Z "Beware Of The Boys." This is a remix of "Mundian To Bach Ke" and it's even better, ups the drama and intensity of the original. Probably my song of the decade (all of my contenders seem to be 2003):

Living Things "Bombs Below" (no YouTube embed). From my Voice review: "It's as good hit-your-fist-into-the-wall music as you'll ever get, but its condition of existence is that the wall stays intact."

Also flabbergasted that "Baby Boy" isn't doing better. I won't embed 'cause you've all had plenty of chances to hear it, but among other things, it's the strongest I've ever heard Sean Paul. He's like hard rubber, flexible enough to maneuver and to strike you, but hard enough never to give way.
