don't suppose...

...that anyone has a copy of the famous danny baker/mj nme piece from 1981 they could scan for me? i thought i had a copy but can't put my hands on it and it's not on rocksbackpages -- possibly because it's collected in the dylan jones book of rockwriting

i think i need to pay someone to help me sort out my "archive"

Scott, would you happen to have the NME of January 17, 1981? If so, could you scan or photocopy Paul du Noyer's interview with Pete Wylie of Wah! Heat, the one in which Wylie coins the term "rockism" (as in "the race against rockism")? I've never seen the actual interview, so don't know exactly what Wylie said.

Just checked -- unfortunately no. I only have about 12 issues from the period, incl. a few from Nov and Dec 1980, but alas, not the one you mention. Now that I know the date, though, I'll ask my brother (it's a longshot), who I think has a small stash of the things as well (I'd obviously like to read the article myself).
