The Friday Canon - TAKE THAT

Take That have sold 65 million records! Wow. I think that deserves some canonising, don't you? Alas "Do What You Like" only got to number 82 in the UK charts - boo! To make up for it I've added the new single Patience, which is 'a grower'.

That Facts!
  • Fat Tony Mortimer from East 17 once said TT were "a Village People tribute band who covered Barry Manilow". That isn't a bad thing Tony!
  • The various members of Take That between them have recorded ten albums since splitting up (not counting the new one).
  • 'Babe' was beaten to the Xmas No 1 spot by Mr Blobby.
  • Ros Weaver from school once carved the TT sign into the back of her hand with a compass and it got all infected! URRR!

So let's get ticking. You have just FIVE ticks to denote your rabid TT obsession!

    [Poll #854342]
A reasonably-sized canon today - I have work to do, innit.

I can't work out whether Mark Owen calling an album How The Mighty Fall is a) a clever bit of self-deprecating humour or b) a bit sad really. Especially considering it probably sold about 119 copies.
