The History Of Pop Part 59 aka Only turning into tigers when we gotta fight back

Now 59 - later 2004 - the Golden Age continues, or....? JoJo, Three Of A Kind, V, Khia, Eric Prydz - we may well not see their like again. On paper this looks set to have a clear winner - but who knows the secret paths down which anygoodatall science will lead us?

Now 58 ended in a DRAW! - and no, no untickings were involved. "Hey Ya" and "Some Girls" fight it out down at the bottom of this poll. Kelis was one vote behind, and Girls Aloud one vote behind that. Very close.

This isn't actually as bad as I remember it being, possibly due to subsequent atrocities released by both parties. I still couldn't bring myself to tick it despite giving it 6/10 in the Square Table.

The Libertines were very much the exception to the "avoid anything championed by the NME in the 21st century" rule. I thought they were bloody great.
